GigHub.ai is a freelance marketplace connecting clients (employers) with professionals and teams (freelancers) for project-based work. By accessing or using this site, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. Separate Privacy Policy applies. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
This site is available to users aged 15 years or older. By using this site, you confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements.
User Registration
- All users must register to use GigHub. Registration is free.
- Clients and freelancers must create separate accounts. Dual roles require distinct accounts.
- Special accounts (Top Rated, Verified Freelancer) may be granted by invitation and are subject to additional agreements.
General User Terms
- Users must honor accepted projects and complete work as agreed. Frequent cancellations may result in account restrictions.
- All payments must be made through GigHub. Direct payments outside the platform are prohibited.
- Clients receive all rights to delivered work unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
- GigHub may feature delivered projects for promotional purposes.
Freelancers / Teams
- Create detailed profiles to showcase skills and past work to potential clients.
- Projects must have clearly defined deliverables, deadlines, and milestones.
- Standardized services (templates, courses) may be offered and are non-customizable.
- Platform fees: 20% for short-term projects, 15% for long-term projects. Net earnings credited after project completion and client acceptance.
- Withdrawals available via approved methods after project completion.
- Clients rate services, and ratings are displayed publicly on profiles.
Clients
- Only registered clients can post projects and hire freelancers.
- Projects are reviewed for compliance before publication.
- Advance payment to escrow is required to confirm project milestones.
- Payments for milestones must be made as agreed. Escrow funds are applied automatically to project invoices.
- Taxes may apply based on client location and law.
Project Tracking
- Project progress is tracked through the GigHub dashboard.
- Freelancers submit completed work and proof of delivery for client review.
- Deliverables and milestones may be revised by mutual agreement, with any cost adjustments applied.
Reviews
- Clients are encouraged to provide honest ratings and feedback for completed projects.
- Feedback must be based on legitimate transactions through GigHub.
- Feedback is publicly displayed on freelancer/team profiles.
- Requesting removal of feedback through cancellations or disputes is prohibited.
Disputes and Cancellations
- Users should attempt to resolve conflicts directly. If unresolved, contact Customer Support.
- Project cancellations are handled by Customer Support or the Resolution Center.
- Attempting refunds, chargebacks, or payments outside GigHub is a violation and may result in account suspension.
- Refunds for cancelled projects are credited to the client account within the platform.
User Conduct and Protection
- User identities are kept private. Sharing contact details to bypass the platform is not allowed.
- All communication and file sharing must occur within GigHub.
- Abusive, harassing, or discriminatory behavior is prohibited and may lead to account suspension.
- Discrimination based on gender, race, religion, age, or sexual orientation is strictly forbidden.
Violations and Non-Permitted Usage
- Violations may result in warnings, suspensions, or permanent account disablement.
- Prohibited activities include: pornographic content, offensive language, privacy violations, intellectual property infringement, and illegal acts.
- Multiple accounts or account transfers are not permitted.
General Terms
- GigHub reserves the right to suspend or disable accounts for violations or illegal activity.
- Disabled accounts cannot transact. Withdrawals are subject to a 90-day safety period and verification.
- Disputes should be resolved via the Resolution Center or Customer Support.
- Terms may be updated from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance.
User Generated Content
- All content uploaded by users is considered User Generated Content (UGC).
- GigHub does not pre-screen UGC for appropriateness or rights violations, but violations may be reported and removed.
- GigHub is not responsible for the quality or completion of services.
- By offering services, freelancers confirm they have the necessary rights and permissions.
Ownership
- Upon payment, clients obtain all intellectual property rights for delivered work unless otherwise stated.
- Freelancers must maintain confidentiality of client-provided information.
- Content uploaded to GigHub may be used for promotion unless stated otherwise.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The site and its services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties. GigHub makes no guarantees regarding completeness, security, reliability, or accuracy. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so these limitations may not apply to you.
Limitation on Liability
GigHub and its affiliates are not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the platform, including direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
